Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Image
I have been experimenting with my own protein bars. I can't find any that really work for me anymore. They either have dairy or rice, or some other substance that I can't consume. I like to have some handy in case I am running around, and just need a snack. After much experimenting, I came up with these yummy bars.  I call them Peanut Butter Protein Bars!   I am not great with measuring things. I tend to cook more by feel, so meal creation can go either way. But I have made a few batches of these, and I still really like them. Consider this more of an outline :) I am pretty picky about using good quality ingredients, and avoid sugar as much as possible. The dates are sweet enough as it is. The peanut powder gives a nice protein punch...at an estimate, about 10g per bar. Cleaning up your lymphatic system

I recently had some thermal imaging ( click here to learn more about thermal imaging). My purpose was to add to my post cancer imaging protocol, as well as get a base line of any inflammation in my body. It was soooo interesting!! Thermography isn't a standard option in the USA. It was just time for my 6 monthly imaging so I wanted to add this to my routine. Costly, yes, but also very worth while. I have been having some neck pain, and sinus congestion as well as some other minor discomfort. After receiving my imaging and doctors diagnosis, I was amazed at the amount of toxicity in my lymphatic system. I have been working really hard to ...

Welcome to my new blog

Thank you for visiting my blog! While recovering from cancer, I have learnt so much about living a more healthy life style and I wanted to share some of this in hope it might benefit others. Healthy living isn't just about good nutrition, but also many other life style choices. If nothing else, my journey to recovery has shown me the importance of taking care of yourself. This might mean taking time to go to the gym, or taking a walk or even making dinner with my family. Everyone will have different needs and gaps in their lives and it is all about finding your personal balance. Hopefully you will find some inspiration in this journey that I hope you will share with me.
